Abstract
The author considers how the World Wide Web brings a uniform user interface to the enormous diversity of data, an interface closer to human information-processing representation. It liberates the user from having to learn individual access methods. One of the fundamental elements of Internet data architecture is the PSSD interface, the interface between the page space and data structured in relational and other databases. The author presents a description of the page space, PSSD interface, databases, information bases and knowledge bases. He also considers data in intranets
