Abstract :
The chaotic dynamics of the R-L-diode circuit are studied. The boundary transformation is introduced rigorously and its singularities are shown. Itineraries for symbolic dynamics are defined and some properties are given. Finally, a conjecture concerning the orbit structure is formulated
