Abstract :
Induction motors with Field Oriented Control or Vector Control, which has brought a new era in this motor applications, are widely used in different industries. In this paper, for designing the controller of FOC IM drive, Mamdani type Fuzzy logic control has been used but the rules of the FIS has been derived by using Li Model for which, with less number of labels of the linguistic variables better response has been achieved both for constant speed and variable speed where speed is a function of time.
