Abstract :
The bifurcation phenomena in current mode controlled buck and boost converters are explored considering switching delay. It has been shown that two new borderline trajectories evolve in the state space due to this switching delay and as a result two new categories of border collision bifurcation occur. These have been supported with different case studies.
