Abstract :
The bifurcation phenomena in a current mode controlled separately excited dc drive have been explored when the input to the dc-dc buck converter feeding the armature of the motor is a rectifier having ripple in its output voltage instead of a regulated dc power supply. A comparison has been made between these two input conditions.
