Abstract
Power system signals are associated with different types of abnormalities, which generate harmonics of various frequencies. These harmonic components deviates the line admittance matrix used for power flow calculations to some abnormal limits, rendering in erratic behavior of a system when fundamental load flow calculations are used. Also the power delivered to a network becomes erroneous, in presence of harmonics in a system. This paper provides a Harmonic Power Flow Analysis for a network in presence of a harmonic [Y-bus] for a multi-bus power system, when different frequency components are present in the network.
