The testing polygon of the Black Sea Higher Naval Institute named after P. S. Nakhimov: History of development and application prospects

Provided the history in brief concerning the development of the testing polygon of The Black Sea Higher Naval Institute named after P.S. Nakhimov, where some radar signature studies of the ships took place. Calculation possibilities for the ship physical field characteristics are compared with their measuring possibilities. It is supposed to change a composition of the characteristics to be measured and increase a number of the polygon users as well as create a reference ship of physical fields.
