Abstract :
The development aspects of double-grid tubes with a cathode grid are studied. The features of this tube, its advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. The tube designs of different manufacturers are presented. The analysis of the reasons why this tube was forced out by tetrode with a shielding grid.
