Abstract :
In this paper, conditions are derived for the accurate estimation of multisine signal parameters. It is shown that different requirements need to be satisfied from those imposed by the sampling theorem and that time-averaging may provide severely corrupted values. Various sampling schemes and estimation procedures are described, and examples are given for illustration purposes
