Abstract :
This paper proposes an improvement of suppressing lateral noise sources and dereverberation in a two-channel microphone system. The analysis is set out from Allen, J. B.´s sub-band two-microphone signal-processing technique, which, in fact, is a binaural signal processing technique. A multi-microphone method is introduced in general. The two-microphone system´s theory and disadvantages are subsequently presented, and a modification is proposed. Simulated experiments are given at the end of this paper, showing that the modified method is effective.
