Abstract :
A modified genetic-algorithm-based approach for structural synthesis of linear and low-noise microwave amplifies using passive elements models in the form of S-parameter data sets is presented. This approach is implemented in Geneamp software tool. An example of synthesis of 1-2 GHz one- and two-stage LNAs on PCB demonstrates the efficiency of the approach.
