  • Abstract
    We describe an approach, based on a matrix process, to predict solar cell degradation due to electron irradiation on the basis of fundamental parameters. This approach also allows us to calculate ´relative damage coefficients´ for different electron energies, a process which is important for the calculation of space solar array performance but which, until now, has been purely empirical.
