Abstract :
The experimental investigation results of the backward-wave tubes with slow-wave structure (SWS) of the coupled helical resonator chain are presented. It is shown that there is a direct dependence of a spectrum of generated oscillations on reflection SWS. It is found that in resonant backward-wave tubes the generation of monochromatic oscillations with high electronic efficiency (up to 28%) is possible at low values of the beam perveance.
