  • Abstract
    In this paper the possibility of THz gyrotron operating at the third harmonic of the gyrofrequency with electron-optical system with two tubular electron beams is under discussion. An electron source in this case is the traditional cathode gyrotron geometry with two emitting rings. Previously, such a system has been successfully used to increase the output power of gyrotrons and selective excitation of mode on the second harmonic of gyrofrequency. The use of multibeam systems with enhanced selection shall record values of power and frequency of CW gyrotron in terahertz range.
