Abstract :
To solve some problems brought about by the Hill Starting Aid Equipment mounted in the vehicle with an Automated Mechanical Transmission, in this work the authors analyzed the vehicle´s dynamics problem and the control problem when the vehicle starts on a slope road, then presented an intelligent control method based on the iterative learning theory for vehicle´s starting. By the aid of the method, the vehicle equipped with the AMT can leave out the Hill Starting Aid Equipment and can start up smoothly on a slope road, without slipping back. This method cannot only reduce the vehicle´s cost, but also make the brake system highly reliable. The test result shows that the method can be applied to the AMT vehicle.
