Abstract :
A universal fuzzy controller, which can adapt to different control objects, is proposed. Controller parameters, such as the quantifying factors and the scale factor, and fuzzy control rules are optimized by chaos method, which is a combination of global and partial chaos searching. The method is applied to control three different nonlinear plants. Simulation results show that the optimization method is efficient to search for controller parameters and control rules, and the control has the advantages of strong robustness and adaptability. The algorithm has a simple structure and is easy to realize. This universal fuzzy controller is better than the common one.
