  • Abstract
    Deficiency of T-S fuzzy system sufficient condition was pointed out, and the condition was proved to be not a necessary one. For T-S fuzzy systems, if the membership functions of fuzzy sets were substituted in fuzzy system expressions, a special nonlinear discrete system would be obtained. Local stability of the system was analyzed, and the stability region was determined based on the analysis region, stability criterion and stability range. The instability criterion was presented with regard to unstable systems. Whether the system is stable at infinity is inconsequential in practical applications, so near the stability point of systems the local stability criterion is of great value.
