Abstract :
The Michelson interferometer using a source with short coherent length is not only used in polarization to maintain fiber measurement, but is also used in coupling position detection. The coupling accuracy and position accuracy of the white-light interferometer are analyzed. The coupling errors result from the axis angle between fiber principle axis and Glen prism and lock in amplifier errors. The position errors come from rail and step precision.
