  • Abstract
The possibility of implementation of the dual-band (X-band and L-band) on-board naval radar with wide angle scanning based on a new class of transmit/receive (T/R) modules with radiator printed on the T/R module shell is shown. Variety of wideband patch antennas is considered. Electrodynamic simulation for a “butterfly”-type printed radiator is developed. Also the L-band radiator is proposed for the above mentioned antenna system. Calculated directivity and matching characteristics of the proposed radiators are shown.
