Abstract
This study aims at, for an e-business Web site, how to use data mining technology in its management analysis, i.e. holding customer behavior patterns and digging potential customers. The connection between Web mining and e-commerce was analyzed. Based on a case of consumer behavior pattern digging, explanation of data gathering, filtering and formatting shows different data mining algorithms, like decision tree, neural network, genetic algorithms and case-based reasoning, should be selectively taken according to different application backgrounds.
