Abstract :
The paper discusses propagation of waves in a strip structure of “meander line coupled with two solid strips” type. It is shown that in propagation of the quasi-TEM waves in controlled devices based on such a structure, there are two matched states with external circuits in a wide frequency band. These states are characterized by significantly different phase and group delay velocities of the forming traveling waves in a stripline structure with the lowest level of the reflected waves. The authors believe that the stripline structure in question provides the smallest possible dimensions for the task of constructing phase shifters and other microwave devices.
