Abstract :
The problem of controlling DC-to-DC switched power converter of boost type is considered. The aim is to regulate the output voltage of the converter and to ensure an adequate robustness against uncertainties of the converter parameters. The control law is designed from the large-signal bilinear model of the converter using the backstepping technique. The obtained regulator is shown to meet its objectives namely a tight output voltage regulation, a fast transient response, and robustness with respect to component uncertainties.
