  • Abstract
    The general task of this report is knowledge generalization on properties and application opportunities of the unique cluster of the dielectric element base (DEB): so-called, the multi-coupled element waveguides (MCDWG), which cross-section contains the multi-coupled topology (their structure consists of several elements in the form of dielectric rods or plates). Specific tasks are research of wave phenomena and processes in MCDWG and in devices on its base; investigation of these phenomena regulations together with properties of such devices (at first place, on the example of waveguide-beam transducers - WGBT); creation of the knowledge base and construction and design principles of WGBT on MCDWG DEB. It is shown that MCDWG may be considered as the generalized millimeter-wave DEB, and developed wave devices on the basis of MCDWG (in particular, WGBT) have higher effectiveness and better qualities of formed fields than one-element ones.
