Abstract
Various methods for estimating the radiation pattern of an antenna in 3-D have been assessed with antenna measurements conducted at different angles in azimuth and elevation for two different in-building antenna types. The use of one of these methods for real coverage predictions is then analysed, as for practical cellular designs, antenna manufacturers only provide two orthogonal cuts.
