Abstract
This paper describes a microstep driving method of stepper motor and its DSP-based implementation. This solution uses a digital controller with PID algorithm to control the currents of the two phases of the motor, making them change according to the orthogonal sinusoidal scalarform curve, fulfilling the microstep driving of stepper motor and improving its position control precision by hundreds of times. At the same time, this driving method solves problems such as large noise, resonance and non-even step angle and so on.
