Abstract :
In this paper, a synergetic face recognition algorithm based on ICA is presented. We utilize the face features extracted by the ICA algorithm as the prototype vector and test vector of the synergetic pattern recognition. The recognition result can be drawn from the dynamic evolvement equation of the order parameters. From the result of the simulated experiment, we can illustrate that the synergetic face recognition algorithm based on ICA not only has the high recognition ratio, but also has strong robustness for deformed, defiled, noised and low resolution images
