  • Abstract
Based on the study of some kind of on-line rule self-regulating fuzzy control methods, we present a novel real-time self-adjusting fuzzy control method which can alter the slope of the rectifying curve of rule scaling factor a with the fine-tuning and coarse-tuning combined mechanism to adjust the fuzzy control rules according to error E and error change EC. Motor speed control experiments have been carried out on an AC frequency control experiment system and the control software is programmed under LabWindows/CVI software development environment. The results demonstrate that this on-line rule-adaptive fuzzy control with variable slope has better control performance than common fuzzy control and general on-line rule self-regulating fuzzy control.
