  • Abstract
    This paper considers different types of current derivative sensors that may be used for tracking the saturation saliency in a.c. machines. The saliency is tracked by measuring the current derivative resulting from voltage ´test´ vector application. The performance of different sensors proposed in the literature is investigated.
