Abstract
Technological fabrication features of free membranes based on high-ordered matrices of nanostructured anodic porous alumina with open-ended pores without the barrier layer were designed. The special combined method composed of the smooth slow voltage drop at the final stage of the two-stage anodization with the cathode polarization and with the alumina chemical etching for the barrier layer thinning and removal was optimized. These membranes are promising as filtration systems elements for different applications because of their manufacturability, capability of reproducing and regularity of the structure parameters.
