Abstract
The signal parameter vector that is computed and updated in the fast QR adaptive filter can be related to prediction and signal model coefficients, and several results concerning these relations are presented. In particular, these results provide information about the signal model, whether it is a moving-average or a predictable signal, as well as about the model order. The results can be useful in real-time signal analysis and can make the QR approach more attractive in adaptive filtering applications
