Abstract
The authors begin with a review of estimation using signal classes. They then show that certain spectral estimation procedures can be viewed as methods of estimating a signal class from data. Given a signal class, it is then possible to estimate signal parameters other than the magnitude of the spectrum, such as phase or missing data points
