Abstract
A method is proposed for modeling a measured signal as the output of an all-pole linear system with noncausal impulse response. The signal model parameters and the exciting signal are obtained by the decision controlled adaptive (DCA) least-mean-squares (LMS) algorithm. The complete solution can be obtained when only the output of the model is known. Its features and advantages with respect to other techniques are pointed out
