Abstract :
A transparent digital bent pipe payload provides a solution to the gap that exists between fully regenerative processors and analog bent pipe payloads. This paper presents a computationally efficient, flexible, frequency demultiplexer (channelizer), a frequency multiplexer (synthesizer), and a router implementation that maximizes the spectral use efficiency in a multi-beam system environment.
