Abstract :
Summary form only given. The magnetic properties of nanostructured ferromagnets are important for magnetic storage applications and for magnetoelectronic devices where spin transport phenomena are utilized. The latter effects crucially depend on the domain configuration. Magnetostatic interaction between ferromagnets via stray fields might have an impact on the domain formation and on the switching properties. Using a Hall nanomagnetometer as a local probe, we have investigated ferromagnetic nanostructures which have been prepared by means of electron-beam lithography and lift-off processing of polycrystalline Ni/sub 80/Fe/sub 20/.
