  • Abstract
    The radioelectronic optical methane concentration measuring instrument with hardware-software method of temperature drift compensating is developed and studied. The metrological characteristics of the meter is determined: absolute basic measurement error does nor exceed ±0.07 vol.% in the range from 0 to 4 vol.%, which is 3 times less than required, and the additional error caused by a temperature change from +5 to +35°C is not more than ±0.15 vol.%, which is 2.7 times less than allowable error, according to GOST for coal mines methane detectors.
