Abstract
Social networks are evolving as mobile devices are able to establish direct communication with each other. Devices enable social interaction, as a level of trust for another person can be determined in the background. This paper describes BlueTrust, a trust mechanism that takes advantage of both the capabilities of the Semantic Web and mobile ad-hoc networks, which are suitable to solve the problems of creation, distribution and discovery of trust information in mobile social networks.
