Abstract :
The human immune system (HIS) is a subject of great research interests because it has powerful and flexible information processing capability as a decentralized intelligent system. It has some important computational aspects such as self/non-self discrimination, learning, memory, retrieval, patterns matching and emergent behavior. In the paper, a modified cellular automation model of immune system is proposed in order to find information inspiring new ways of computation. It mainly researches the effect of mutation in immune system. The results show that mutation results in low-affinity antibodies dominating antibody population. And second response dose not depend directly from mutation. The results suggest that mutation should be paid much attention when designing new ways of computation based on immune system
