Abstract
One of the most common problems in power systems is the unbalanced load and harmonics that causes losses and interference in power systems. To eliminate or detect these problems, the compensator or detection equipment needs an algorithm for the real time detection/extraction of the positive, negative sequence and harmonics components that will be used for generating the reference signal for the converter or analyzer. This paper proposes a generic method to obtain the positive, negative and/or harmonics reference signals that not requires any coordinate transform or signal filtering.
