Abstract :
The provision and delivery of personalized services across network and terminal boundaries with the same look and feel is currently a challenging issue for service provisioning in future telecommunication networks like UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunication System). This paper describes an advanced mobile agent based approach for realization of PSE (personalized service environment) migration in the VHE (virtual home environment) concept, and presents a MAPM (mobile agent based PSE migration) platform to support PSE move. In MAPM we mainly consider two aspects of PSE migration namely service roaming and terminal independence and have primarily realized the two above instances on grasshopper platform.
