            Abstract :
The new approach to the estimation of electromagnetic visibility of an object is proposed. It is based on the calculation of the multi-channel scattering matrix of the spatial domain containing the investigated object. The masking effectiveness assessment is carried out by comparing multi-channel matrices for spatial domains with the object and without it. For calculating multi-channel scattering matrix, the recompositional variant of the minimal autonomous blocks method is used.
