Abstract :
As various types of wireless communication services are introduced, wireless network optimization is a nonlinear problem, whose solution is not known, and some meaningful result was rarely found in previous approaches. This paper presents an efficient optimization strategy to find an acceptable solution in tractable time. To reduce the computational complexity of evaluating a solution, the proposed optimization strategy partitions target area into virtually independent sub-areas, which determines the fitness of the configuration of a base station, and optimizes a base station at a time. In the experimental evaluation, the proposed strategy provided clear performance enhancement in terms of the amount of computation.
