Abstract
This paper proposes a new recursive algorithm to estimate the grid impedance from the current and voltage measurements performed in the common coupling point. The method is based in a recursive least squares algorithm performed over the complex space. The described method has low computational overhead, does not require the injection of disturbances in the grid and simultaneously estimates the grid equivalent impedance and the grid equivalent generator.
