Abstract :
In order to reduce power consumption of servers, efficient power conversion is required. DC Transformers (DCXs) have long been used in DC distribution, but have not been used in AC input power supplies due to the propagation of line frequency ripple. The use of a DCX with line frequency ripple attenuation has been proposed previously, where attenuation was achieved through feedforward of the input voltage. This paper proposes the use of output voltage feedback for a DC Transformer (DCX) with low frequency ripple attenuation.
