Summary form only given. The influence of the double-frequency parametric pumping on the formation and propagation of dipolar spin wave (or backward volume magnetostatic wave (BVMSW)) envelope solitons has been studied experimentally in tangentially magnetized yttrium-iron garnet (YIG) waveguides. Our experimental set-up was a standard BVMSW delay line where a pumping dielectric resonator was placed between the input and output transducers.
