Abstract :
The model of the biological tissue on the basis of the grid arrays of resistive filaments is considered. The amplitude and phase of the electromagnetic wave transmission coefficients are investigated. It is shown that the variation of electrophysical and geometrical parameters of the biological tissue model of the structured type leads to a substantial change in energy and phase characteristics of the transmitted electromagnetic waves for the coincident and cross- polarizations. It allows using the results of the corresponding measurements to extract information concerning deviations of biological environment properties from the typical values, for example, due to the development of cancer.
