Abstract :
The present paper concerns the automatic contouring algorithm of the left ventricle on ultrasound images of the apical four-chamber projection of the human heart. The applicability of this algorithm for the patients with the ischemic heart disease is examined. Further ways of research to improve the quality contouring are described.
