Abstract :
Summary form only given Recently, a strong interest has arisen in magnetic semiconductors and insulators because of possible application in spin-electronic devices. We have carried out a systematic study of growth and characterization of thin films of EuS, which in its stoichiometric form is a ferromagnetic insulator with a Curie-temperature of T/sub C/ = 16.5K.
