  • Abstract
gm/ID analog circuit design methodology for all operation regions of the MOS transistor based on SPICE simulations was proposed in years. In this paper, a novel method - distance method, which is based on the gm/ID design methodology will be introduced to the tradeoff and optimization in a circuit design. With distance method, the tradeoff and optimization among lots of performance parameters will be more definite and a preferable work point of the MOSFET can be obtained to meet the requirements.
