Abstract
In order to respond quickly to the needs of enterprise applications of RFID technology, this paper describes the development of the reconfigurable RFID middleware for different RFID deployment environment and computing platforms, which has the advantage of the rapid development of new scene-oriented RFID middleware. Customization and reconfiguration are the goals of the RFID middleware in this paper. Based on OSGi ( Open Service Gateway Initiative ) technology and its Service-Oriented development mode, the paper proposes the service component framework and components design method for reconfigurable RFID middleware, and designs the basic service components of RFID middleware. Those basic service components can be assembled as main service components for RFID middleware, which enable RFID middleware to be extended and reconfigurable. Finally, it demonstrates how RFID middleware can be reconfigurable under a warehouse management application scene to verify the feasibility and availability for the design of Reconfigurable RFID middleware.
