Abstract :
With the wide application of RFID technology in a variety of fields such as item tracking, supply chain management, theft and counterfeiting prevention and so on, to manage the large volume data collected from a RFID network in manufactory effectively and efficiently poses some challenges. It is necessary to design a RFID middleware to collect data from the production line and deploy it in order to monitor and control manufacture processes. In this paper, we implement such a middleware. With the prototype system, we successfully cache data in message queues, and carry out the data filtering, integration and exchange in a secure way. Whatpsilas more, by combining the technique of Web services we also integrate RFID information flow into existed enterprise management information systems and provide valid data to other applications.
